Perfect for admiring the stunning sunsets, the view stretchies for 40km west towards Portugal. The medieval buildings which formed part of the XIII century towered castle garrison have now been restored to their original splendour. The property, its extensive private gardens and terraces are all enclosed within the town's castellated walls

The house is fully furnished and equipped with linen, china & glass. The maid and gardening services, are included in the rent. Fresh flowers and a welcome pack are provided to get you started.

Each of the buildings has been refurbished to a high standard & incorporate many architectural stone features in a classical style. The reception rooms are of noble proportions. There is also a traditional wooden panelled study and a large dining room with magnificent cornice work and marble flooring. The sophisticated gardens have been designed by George Carter, a prominent landscape architect, and merge the structural with the picturesque. The gardens are not suitable for children under the age of 7.There is a Roman style swimming pool and a astroturf tennis court.
