Trujillo became known as the "Cuna de Conquistadores", the cradle of Conquerors as it was home to so many of the names which are now world renowned for their discoveries and adventures, Pizarro discovering and conquering Peru, Orellana the Amazon, Cortes Baja California and many more.

Is it any wonder then that this region, along with it's history of Roman and many other occupations is so full of interesting places to visit.
